I'm starting to get really close to dropping my motor back in with a forged build, Z1 stage 2 turbos, 555 injectors, etc but now I am starting to wonder how all of these mods are going to affect my clutch. I replaced the stock with a JWT street duty around 3-4k miles ago. When I pulled it out a few months ago it looked to be in pretty good shape still, and the flywheel had a couple hot spots on it, from the occasional slip-launch. I know what the clutch is rated at, but I cant help but think its not going to hold that much for that long, considering I ***SHOULD be putting down over 500rwhp after the break in. Anyhoo-just looking for suggestions. Hopefully it will last me at least through the break in and dyno runs following. I imagine as little as I drive the car, by the time i get it broken in and have some fun with it, its going to be time to put it away for winter, so I can possibly go with a segmented flywheel and heavier clutch
